State to call more witnesses in Meek case

The murder trial of Tiffany Meek is set to resume at the Johannesburg High Court on Monday morning. This time, the State is anticipated to bring forth additional witnesses in the case concerning the death of her 11-year-old son, Jayden Lee Meek. During the court's previous session, Meek, her defense team, and the State conducted an in-person examination at the Fleurhof apartment complex, where she resided alongside Jayden Lee.

The inspection aimed to clarify various contentious aspects, such as the location of the pedestrian gate and the various levels of the complex, as the court endeavors to ascertain Jayden Lee's activities on the day of his demise. The 11-year-old's remains were discovered at the complex in May of the previous year. Meek stands accused of murder, child abuse, and thwarting the ends of justice. When proceedings restart this morning, additional witnesses are anticipated to provide testimony.
