President Sheikh Mohamed receives Albanian President Bajram Begaj in Abu Dhabi

President Sheikh Mohamed of the United Arab Emirates received Albanian President Bajram Begaj in Abu Dhabi on Monday. The meeting aimed to strengthen ties between the two nations. President Begaj was on a working visit to the UAE. President Mohamed expressed optimism that the visit would enhance bilateral relations and cooperation.

Albanian President Begaj presented President Mohamed with the Grand Star of the Supreme Order of the Eagle, Albania's highest state decoration. This honor acknowledged President Mohamed's role in bolstering UAE-Albania relations and their development across multiple fields. President Mohamed expressed gratitude to Mr. Begaj and reiterated his dedication to building upon the advancements in bilateral relations.

The leaders also deliberated on the upcoming 2026 UN Water Conference, which the UAE will host in December. They reaffirmed their commitment to sustainability and addressing water-related challenges. Both emphasized the significance of continued cooperation in international forums to confront shared global issues.
