Presidency mourns state house media aide

The President of Nigeria, Bola Tinubu, and the State House media department mourn the loss of Peter Onwubuariri, the Assistant Director of Information and Public Relations. Bayo Onanuga, the Special Adviser to the President on Information and Strategy, made this announcement during a condolence visit to the deceased's family in Abuja.

Onanuga and other presidential media aides expressed their sympathy to the family, describing Onwubuariri as a hardworking and dependable professional who contributed significantly to the department's work. He was known for his role as master of ceremonies at presidential events and was highly regarded for his writing skills. The loss has left a significant void in the department, and a statement was released to convey the depth of the President's grief.

The Senior Special Assistant to the President on Media and Special Duties, Tunde Rahman, remembered Onwubuariri as a workaholic who consistently delivered excellent work. Former President Muhammadu Buhari's Special Assistant on New Media, Bashir Ahmad, also expressed shock over the tragedy and prayed for the deceased's soul. The deceased's family, through his elder sister, appreciated the support of the presidential media team and expressed gratitude for the efforts of his colleagues and friends.
