‘Machala blew Wizkid’ — Carter Efe challenges singer to boxing fight

Nigerian content creator Carter Efe recently claimed that his hit song 'Machala' played a significant role in elevating Wizkid's career. During an interview with Yanga FM, the streamer challenged the singer to a free boxing match, offering to pay Wizkid a million dollars to participate in the bout. Carter Efe assured that he would not demand any payment for the fight, stating that Wizkid should be the one to pay him.

He further suggested that Wizkid should pay him a million dollars to take part in the boxing match, adding that Wizkid should "come chaos in the ring" and fight him.

The content creator claimed that Wizkid's alleged marijuana use would give him an advantage in the fight, stating that he and Wizkid "share glory" because of the success of 'Machala', which reached number one on the charts. Carter Efe expressed his belief that Wizkid should acknowledge his contribution to the song's success, saying, "Me and Wizkid share glory, I drop Machala, the song enter number 1, even though say na me make money why he no fit acknowledge me?"

However, Carter Efe also mentioned that Wizkid's failure to acknowledge his contribution led him to stop acknowledging the singer as well.

Carter Efe concluded the interview by calling for Wizkid to meet him in the boxing ring, stating, "Make them carry Wizkid come chaos in the ring make we fight."
