India women's team refuse Asia Cup cricket trophy from Pakistan minister

Players like Harmanpreet Kaur held the stance because Naqvi is a top-ranking politician in Pakistan and holds conflicting interests with India's military conflict.

The trophy refusal does not indicate a boycott of Pakistan, as India has continued to play against Pakistan in multilateral tournaments. India's stance is a clear indication that the two nations will not resume bilateral cricket series, but they can still compete against one another when both teams qualify for multinational events.
