GKL donates $20,000 via Red Cross to aid Nepal flood victims

Grand Korea Leisure (GKL), the operator of the Seven Luck casinos, has made a donation of 30 million won ($20,200) to aid flood victims in Nepal. The decision to donate was made following a meeting of GKL's social value committee on Thursday. The funds will be provided through the Korean Red Cross, which will use them to supply emergency relief goods and assist in the reconstruction of damaged homes, as announced by GKL.

GKL expressed its deepest condolences to the families and communities affected by the disaster, which resulted in numerous casualties and the loss of homes and livelihoods. The company hopes that recovery efforts will proceed swiftly, enabling the affected communities to resume their normal routines. This donation is part of GKL's ongoing commitment to disaster relief efforts both within Korea and internationally.

In 2025, GKL and its social contribution foundation collectively contributed 160 million won to the Korean Red Cross, supporting recovery efforts following wildfires and heavy rains in Korea. Additionally, in July, GKL provided a donation of 20 million won to aid earthquake recovery efforts in Venezuela.
