Doha Bank’s MSCI ESG rating upgraded to BBB

Doha Bank's MSCI ESG rating has been upgraded from BB to BBB, indicating an improvement in the bank's environmental, social and governance (ESG) performance. This upgrade highlights the bank's enhanced transparency in sustainability disclosures and the progress made through its strategic transformation program. Doha Bank Group Chief Executive Officer Sheikh Abdulrahman bin Fahad bin Faisal Al Thani expressed his satisfaction with the achievement, stating that it underscores the success of the bank's institutional transformation efforts and the progress in strengthening ESG practices and risk management capabilities.
