Dataminr puts real-time intelligence and agentic AI inside Crisis24 Horizon

Dataminr Inc., a real-time event and risk detection company, has integrated its threat detection feed and agentic artificial intelligence tools into Crisis24 Horizon, a risk management platform offered by Crisis24 Inc. The collaboration, announced in March, marks the first product born from their partnership. Crisis24 Horizon, already integrating intelligence, mass communications, global security and medical response, now features Dataminr's Multi-Modal Fusion AI layer.

This layer analyzes text in 150 languages, along with image, video, audio and sensor signals from over 1 million public data sources. The integrated system overlays this intelligence onto the client's offices, facilities and traveling employees' locations. The combined system aims to detect hyper-local incidents that often go unnoticed through country-level alerts.

Four Dataminr capabilities are included in the integration: ReGenAI Live Briefs, which dynamically rewrite event descriptions as they evolve; Agentic Context, drawing from Dataminr's extensive 10-year archive for situational context; Agentic Corroboration, which cross-references publicly available information for event confirmation during development; and Near-Term Predictive Intelligence, forecasting an event's likely progression.

Matt Harrell, Dataminr's chief partner officer, emphasized that this solution "changes the equation entirely" for security teams. Gregoire Pinton, Crisis24's managing director and global head of integrated risk management, stated that the addition provides clients with "an even faster, deeper view," complemented by human expertise and a global response network.

Crisis24 employs over 230 intelligence analysts within Horizon, highlighting it as the largest private-sector team of its kind. Alerts are delivered in the platform's decision interface, enabling clients to trigger mass notifications or contact security and medical teams without leaving their workflow. Fully deployed, Horizon will be the first critical event management platform to incorporate all of Dataminr's agentic AI capabilities in a single product.

Future updates will extend intelligence dissemination to clients' employees and travelers in the field, marking a significant step for the travel security industry. Deployment details were not provided. Dataminr recently acquired ThreatConnect Inc. for $290 million, integrating this technology into its cyber defense suite launched in March.

Crisis24 is part of Montreal-based Garda World Security Corp., which trades as GardaWorld. Horizon premiered at GSX in 2023, and both companies will demonstrate the software at GSX this year. A joint session on artificial intelligence and human judgment in corporate intelligence is scheduled for Tuesday afternoon at the conference.
