Copado extends Agentia agentic AI DevOps platform for Salesforce with headless automation

Copado, a provider of low-code DevOps solutions for Salesforce, has expanded the capabilities of its Agentia platform with the addition of Headless. This new feature integrates the AI-powered AgentOps platform directly into developer tools and operational workflows.

Agentia, which allows developers to plan, build, test, and release software across the entire ecosystem, now operates within independent development editors or terminals using Model Context Protocol and command-line interfaces. This integration enables software engineers to automate tasks with AI agents without leaving their preferred tools, maintaining a seamless connection to the codebase while the agents operate in the background.

The move comes as developers increasingly use AI agents to generate or augment code. However, a significant amount of generated code never reaches production due to developers being bogged down by manual processes such as managing tickets, reading/writing documentation, checking conflicts, and handling release management. For instance, one customer found that 216 hours of manual pre- and post-deployment steps were required annually per two release managers before implementing Agentia.

Other teams spent weeks on manual regression testing and up to 10 days validating 2,000 production configurations per release.

Headless allows AI agents to function as background operators rather than chat assistants. These agents are equipped with built-in commands to run across Copado's entire suite of tools, taking on roles such as governance, team coordination, and conflict detection. This capability can significantly reduce the time spent on the routine paperwork that slows down release cycles, allowing developers to focus on coding and delivering high-quality work.

When Agentia was launched in April, Copado highlighted its role in pioneering Salesforce-native automation, bringing development and operations teams closer together to harness the power of agentic AI. According to Copado, Agentia's embedded governance and testing can enable enterprise teams to move up to 70% faster while reducing production defects.
