CBSE Date Sheet 2027 for Class 10, 12: When will it be out? Check past trends

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) is currently in the process of finalizing preparations for the 2027 Class 10 and Class 12 board examinations, with the date sheet still pending release. To predict when students might receive the date sheet, CBSE's timeline from the previous year can provide insight. For the 2026 exams, the tentative date sheet was published on September 24, 2025, 146 days prior to the exams, followed by the final schedule on October 30, 2025, 110 days before the exams commenced on February 17.

Following a revision on December 30, 2025, certain Class 10 and Class 12 papers were rescheduled. Given this pattern, one could anticipate a tentative date sheet by late September for the 2027 exams, with the final version released in October. However, these are speculative estimates based on past trends and require official confirmation from CBSE.

The Board is presently engaged in administrative preparations for the upcoming cycle, including the selection of a scanning agency to digitize candidate data using advanced technologies such as ICR, OCR, and OMR. Approximately 29.89 lakh candidates from Classes 10 and 12 are projected to participate across 24 regional centers, with pre-examination processes increasingly relying on digital systems to minimize manual errors.
