Armani Hotel Dubai to reopen on this date after landmark transformation inside Burj Khalifa

The Armani Hotel Dubai, located within the world's tallest building, the Burj Khalifa, is set to reopen with a renovated ballroom and event spaces starting in January 2027. This comes after the hotel's extensive renovation, which is expected to be completed in March of the same year. The property, which opened in 2010 and was the first hotel designed by the Italian fashion designer Giorgio Armani, has been undergoing a full-scale refurbishment since it closed on April 1, 2026.

The transformation encompasses various aspects of the hotel, including its rooms and suites, dining venues, spa and fitness facilities, pool, and outdoor areas. Armani Hotel Dubai's interiors will continue to embody Armani's signature style of understated elegance, refined materials, and personalized service. Existing Armani/Casa furnishings will also be retained, preserving the property's original design concept while undergoing updates.

The renewed hotel aims to blend Armani's Italian design sensibilities with Dubai's international character, all while maintaining the minimalist aesthetic that the hotel is known for. The transformation of Armani Hotel Dubai is part of a broader trend of luxury hotel renovations taking place across Dubai's hospitality sector, with other high-profile properties like Jumeirah Burj Al Arab, Park Hyatt Dubai, The St Regis Dubai, The Palm, and Radisson Blu Hotel Dubai Media City also undergoing significant upgrades.
