Animal kills 21-year-old man in Sapotaweyak Cree Nation: Manitoba RCMP

PELICAN RAPIDS, MAN. - Police in northern Manitoba have determined that a 21-year-old man was killed by an animal attack on a road in the Sapotaweyak Cree Nation last week. An autopsy found the preliminary cause of death was from an animal attack, though the specific type of animal has not yet been identified. Manitoba Conservation's predator attack team is still investigating the incident. The Sapotaweyak Cree Nation is located approximately 600 kilometres north of Winnipeg.
