Andreescu bounced in opening round of Guadalajara Open in straight sets

Canadian tennis player Bianca Andreescu suffered an early exit from the Guadalajara Open on Sunday, losing in the opening round to sixth-seeded Cristina Bucsa of Spain. Andreescu, representing Canada, put up a brave fight but ultimately fell to Bucsa in straight sets, 6-4, 6-3. The match lasted one hour and 37 minutes. Andreescu showcased only a single ace and four double faults throughout the game, winning a mere five out of 10 service games and two out of nine return games.

In contrast, Bucsa demonstrated superior performance, securing seven service games and five return games. Bucsa's triumph in this WTA 500 match propelled her to the Round of 16, where she will now face Panna Udvardy of Hungary.
