African players shine across Europe’s top leagues

African talent has been making waves in Europe's premier football leagues this season. Mohamed Belloumi, an Algerian winger for Hull City, scored twice in Chelsea's 2-2 draw at Stamford Bridge, continuing the Tigers' unbeaten run in the Premier League. Belloumi's two goals in the first half, including one with multiple deflections, marked his return to the top flight after a 10-year absence.

In England's top tier, Malick Yalcouye, a 20-year-old midfielder from Mali playing for Brighton, scored Brighton's second goal against Coventry in a 5-0 win. Yalcouye, who has represented Ivory Coast's under-23 team, also scored in a previous match against Chelsea. In Spain's La Liga, Ghanaian striker Inaki Williams scored a late equalizer for Athletic Bilbao against Elche, his first goal of the campaign.

Finally, in Italy's Serie A, Akor Adams scored for Venezia against Fiorentina, helping the bottom club to a 4-2 victory. Despite Christian Kofane's early goal for Bayer Leverkusen, the team lost 2-2 to Augsburg, while Borussia Dortmund's Serhou Guirassy scored twice in a 3-0 win over Paderborn.
