Natasha Osawaru, wife of Nigerian musician 2Baba, announced her aspiration to one day become President of Nigeria during the 92nd birthday celebration of her grandfather, Gabriel Igbinedion, in Benin City, Edo State. The Edo State House of Assembly member praised her grandfather, referring to him affectionately as "my baby" and expressing her admiration as he grows older.

She pledged to work towards becoming Nigeria's president while Igbinedion is still alive. The lawmaker, who represents the Egor Constituency and recently became the Minority Leader of the Edo State House of Assembly, emphasized that her political ambition is not just a title but a responsibility she holds dear. Her political ambitions are fueled by her growing public profile, both as a state legislator and as 2Baba's wife, who he married in July 2025 after his separation from his former wife, Annie Macaulay Idibia.

Despite the singer's rejection of claims that Natasha was responsible for the breakdown of his previous marriage, she has become a prominent figure in the public eye.
