TORRY LEFT FRUSTRATED AFTER DOMINATING HOME CLASH

In a Tercera Federación match, UD Vall de Uxó claimed a 2-0 victory over SC Torrevieja CF at Nelson Mandela Stadium. Torrevieja, who had opened their campaign with a win away to Hércules B, failed to capitalize on their chances and Jota's early dismissal proved costly. Both teams observed a minute's silence before kick-off in memory of Torrevieja Army founder member Pat Stewart.

Torrevieja started the game strongly, but Vall de Uxó's physical approach disrupted their rhythm. Matías and Morales combined well, but Ismail's shot was blocked. Debutant David came close but fired over, while Morales had a tight angle save denied by the goalkeeper. Vall de Uxó threatened later, with Pizana making a crucial save.

Vall de Uxó took the lead in the 43rd minute after Torrevieja failed to deal with a cross. Jota received a second yellow card for protesting, leaving Torrevieja with ten men.
