Thousands attend as S’hail 2026 concludes

Doha, Qatar - The annual Katara International Hunting and Falcons Exhibition, known as S'hail 2026, concluded its tenth edition yesterday. The event, themed "A Decade of Passion and Heritage," drew a large audience and international participants.

Throughout the exhibition, visitors of all ages engaged in various activities, explored products and equipment related to hunting and falconry, and enjoyed cultural, heritage, and artistic programs. High-level officials attended, underscoring S'hail's growing significance in preserving Qatari heritage and fostering international connections.

The final day saw a major highlight - the S'hail falcon auction, which attracted falconers and enthusiasts from Qatar and abroad. Strong competition for rare falcons underscored the event's prominence. The day also honored sponsors, participating companies, and winners of various competitions, including the Best Burqa, Best Participating Pavilion, Best Garage, and Best Poem about the Falcon. These events infused creativity and competition into the exhibition, showcasing different aspects of falconry and its heritage.

Supreme Organising Committee member Malka Mohammed Al Shireem commended the extensive media coverage received by the 10th edition. She highlighted the coverage's role in presenting S'hail as a platform where falconry, heritage, business, tourism, and innovation intersect, attracting global attention. Al Shireem emphasized the media's strategic partnership in conveying the exhibition's message and promoting Qatari heritage worldwide.
