Speeding Car Kills 48-Year-Old Man On Ujjain-Dewas Road, Angry Villagers Block Traffic In Ujjain

Ujjain, Madhya Pradesh experienced a tragic incident on the Ujjain-Dewas Road where a 48-year-old man, Ramchandra Prajapat, was killed by a speeding car. The accident occurred in the Bolsa area, leading to widespread outrage among villagers and his family. Following the fatal collision, protesters took to the streets and blocked the road in Narwar, causing severe traffic disruption.

The driver of the speeding car reportedly abandoned the vehicle and fled the scene after the accident. Narwar Police arrived at the scene after receiving reports of the incident, seized the car, and started a search for the fleeing driver. The deceased's body was sent for a post-mortem examination, and police launched an investigation to determine the exact circumstances surrounding the fatal collision.

Villagers, distraught over Prajapat's death, demanded the arrest of the driver and compensation for his family. Their protest resulted in a traffic blockade on the busy Ujjain-Dewas route, causing long queues of vehicles on both sides of the road. Police and officials worked to negotiate with the protesters, urging them to clear the road and restore normal traffic flow.

Additional SP Guru Prasad Parashar confirmed that police personnel were on-site and engaging with the deceased's family to resolve the situation. Further investigation into the accident is currently ongoing.
