Saif Ali Khan on stabbing incident: ‘I am still not 100% over it… knives make me react’

In early January 2025, Bollywood actor Saif Ali Khan survived a violent attempted burglary at his Mumbai residence, enduring multiple knife wounds. Nearly a year later, the star revealed to Bombay Times that he remains deeply affected by the traumatic incident. During the interview, Saif described the physical toll of the attack, which nearly left him paralyzed, and recounted how he contemplated dying as a warrior.

He noted that seeing a knife triggers a strong reaction from him, a stark reminder of the near-fatal nature of the event. Remarkably, while acknowledging the possibility of forgiveness for his attacker, Saif empathized with their desperation, believing the crime stemmed from economic hardship. The incident left him reflecting on life's fragility and pondering a more present existence.
