PM discusses evolving situation with partners

On Sunday, His Excellency Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim al-Thani engaged in a series of telephone conversations with key regional officials to discuss the evolving situation in the Middle East. The discussions centered on bolstering bilateral cooperation, addressing regional developments, and fostering diplomatic efforts aimed at de-escalation and enhancing security and stability.

In his first call, Prime Minister Sheikh Mohammed spoke with Omani Minister of Foreign Affairs Badr bin Hamad bin Hamood al-Busaidi. During the conversation, they exchanged views on mutual cooperation and explored avenues to strengthen their partnership while keeping abreast of the most recent regional developments, particularly diplomatic initiatives and joint coordination efforts geared towards de-escalation and security enhancement.

Next, Sheikh Mohammed had a telephone conversation with Saudi Minister of Foreign Affairs Prince Faisal bin Farhan bin Abdullah al-Saud. The discussion encompassed bilateral cooperation, potential avenues for development, and an overview of the current regional situation, with a focus on diplomatic efforts and coordinated steps to de-escalate tensions and promote stability.

Subsequently, the Prime Minister conversed with Kuwaiti Minister of Foreign Affairs Sheikh Jarrah Jaber al-Ahmad al-Sabah. They evaluated the state of bilateral cooperation and brainstormed strategies to enhance it, while monitoring the latest regional developments, highlighting ongoing diplomatic endeavors and joint coordination to de-escalate tensions and bolster security and stability.

Finally, Sheikh Mohammed held a telephone call with Austrian Minister for European and International Affairs Beate Meinl-Reisinger. They exchanged perspectives on strengthening bilateral ties, alongside reviewing the most recent regional developments, emphasizing diplomatic efforts and joint coordination aimed at de-escalation and the pursuit of enduring security and stability.

Throughout these discussions, Prime Minister Sheikh Mohammed reiterated Qatar's unwavering support for all diplomatic endeavors aimed at achieving a resolution that guarantees freedom of maritime navigation and lays the groundwork for a comprehensive agreement that ensures enduring peace in the region.
