Pelajar praktikal, pemilik kolam maut kena renjatan elektrik

Ketua Polis Besut Mohd Rozaime Ab Rahim revealed that the cause of the tragic incident remains under investigation and the case has been classified as a sudden death. Two women were found dead, reportedly electrocuted in a fish farm pond near Pantai Air Tawar. The police received a report at 1:40 PM about the victims, aged 49 and 27 years, found unconscious in the area.

Medical officers confirmed both victims had died, and their bodies were sent to the forensic unit at Hospital Besut for autopsy. However, the exact cause of the incident is still under investigation. Meanwhile, the husband of one of the victims, Wan Muhammad Naim Wan Hussin, 28, was shocked to find his wife, Rubayyi Razali, 27, and the fish farm owner, Wan Adilah Wan Awang, 49, unconscious.

Naim, who is a second-year student of Biodiversity Honours at Universiti Teknologi Mara (UiTM) in Jengka, Pahang, had been on an internship at the farm since August 10 and was expected to complete it by October 2. He believes the women may have been electrocuted due to nearby electrical wires and running water pipes. Rubayyi had left behind two young children, a two-year-old boy and a four-month-old girl.
