NAZA director: Palestinian journalists have documented Gaza truth from day one

Israeli filmmaker Yuval Abraham, director of the documentary NAZA, has claimed that Palestinian journalists have been documenting the truth of the Gaza conflict since the very first day of the conflict. Abraham made these remarks at the Venice Film Festival, where he and co-director Rachel Szor were awarded the Special Jury Prize for their documentary.

The film delves into the Israeli military systems that led to the mass killing of Palestinian civilians in Gaza. During a video shared on X, Abraham stated that "Since this festival started, Israel killed at least six Palestinian children in Gaza." He elaborated on these incidents, mentioning that a three-year-old girl was killed at a school that was bombed, a seven-year-old girl was killed in a car with her father, and two other sisters were killed at home.

Abraham also revealed that Israeli intelligence officers had told them about how this mass killing was systemic, not an accident but a deliberate policy of dehumanization of Palestinians. Abraham emphasized the importance of recognizing the truth documented by Palestinian journalists, as their voices have been silenced and denied.

He urged Israelis to watch the film to understand the reality of the situation. Abraham responded to criticisms from Israeli journalists since NAZA's premiere at the Venice Film Festival by asserting that "Since this festival started, Israel killed at least six Palestinian children in Gaza."
