MIHAS Knowledge Hub expands into year-round platform: Matrade

The Malaysia External Trade Development Corporation (Matrade) has transformed the Malaysia International Halal Showcase (MIHAS) Knowledge Hub into a continuous trade intelligence platform to boost Malaysian exporters' global competitiveness. While MIHAS Knowledge Hub was initially launched in 2021 as a knowledge and thought leadership platform during the annual four-day halal trade exhibition, this expansion introduces AI-driven content curation, year-long digital programming, and modern multimedia formats to provide real-time, actionable market insights to local businesses.

Matrade CEO Datuk Abu Bakar Yusof emphasized that export success relies not only on product quality but also on understanding international markets, buyer expectations, regulatory compliance, and staying current with emerging trends. MIHAS Knowledge Hub connects businesses with experts, buyers, and policymakers, making practical market insights accessible through podcasts, technical sessions, and more.

The Yayasan Pembangunan Ekonomi Islam Malaysia (YAPEIM) has joined this year's strategic initiative, featuring four knowledge-sharing pillars catering to every stage of the exporter journey: Prelude & Meet the Experts webinars, Pocket Talk, #SembangBlog/#SembangSantai podcasts, and Power Talk. MIHAS 2026 will be held at the Malaysia International Trade and Exhibition Centre (MITEC) from September 23-26, inviting Malaysian exporters, SMEs, and industry stakeholders to register early and access exclusive trade insights, networks, and global business opportunities through the official MIHAS website.
