Karnataka Minister Satish Jarkiholi says he was misquoted on ED searches; releases video message

Karnataka Minister Satish Jarkiholi has clarified that he was misquoted in reports about Enforcement Directorate searches at his residence. In a video message, Jarkiholi stated, "Some newspapers have reported that I have thrown a challenge to the ED to prove my overseas investment. This is far from truth. I have never said that."

He emphasized that he had never used the word "challenge" and reiterated that he was fully cooperating with the ED investigation, providing all necessary documents. Jarkiholi held three press conferences regarding the searches, stating, "There is no question of posing challenges to anyone, and I do not need to do such a thing." He urged the media to present facts accurately and avoid misinterpretations that could harm the public's perception of the situation or the ED.
