Drone hits Kyiv-Warsaw train close to Polish border during Russian attacks on Ukraine

A Russian drone has targeted a passenger train traveling between Kyiv and Warsaw, approximately two kilometers from the Polish border, during ongoing attacks on Ukraine. Simultaneously, a truck near a Polish border crossing was also hit by a drone. Ukrainian Foreign Minister Andrii Sybiha denounced the attacks as "Putin's terror" and called for strong sanctions against Russia, warning that the aggressor's barbarism will face significant consequences.

Ukrainian Railways stated that no one was injured when the train was hit, as a monitoring group had warned the crew of the threat beforehand. Poland's border guard confirmed that a drone had struck a truck around 800 meters from the Dorohusk-Jagodzin border crossing. At the same time, a gas station near the Yahodyn checkpoint on the Polish border was set ablaze by another drone, causing a significant fire. No injuries were reported on the Polish side of the border.
