Derrick Henry’s rushes for 3 TDs and Lamar Jackson lights up the Colts in the Ravens’ 41-23 win

Indianapolis (AP) — Derrick Henry ran for three touchdowns to climb into third place on the NFL's career list, while Lamar Jackson contributed with 324 passing yards and a touchdown, along with a rushing score as the Baltimore Ravens overwhelmed the Indianapolis Colts with a 41-23 victory.

Henry had a stellar performance, accumulating 24 carries for 144 yards, which marked his 56th 100-yard game and his eighth with three or more rushing touchdowns. His 125 career rushing touchdowns place him two behind Marcus Allen.

Jackson was efficient in the first half, completing 17 of 25 passes for 324 yards, with 229 of those yards occurring in the first half. Zay Flowers contributed significantly in the first half, catching five passes for 150 yards, including a 54-yard catch-and-run for a touchdown. However, Flowers was ruled out for the second half due to a hamstring injury.

The Ravens began the game strongly under their new coach Jesse Minter, following a 1-yard touchdown run by Jonathan Taylor. The Ravens expanded their lead to 28-6 with Jackson's 5-yard touchdown run, Henry's 4-yard TD run, Flowers' touchdown reception, and Henry's 32-yard touchdown run. The Colts were unable to mount a comeback. Taylor answered with a 3-yard touchdown run late in the first half.

The Ravens showcased their offensive prowess in the second half, closing out the half with a 57-yard field goal by Tyler Loop, extending their lead to 31-13, the fifth time in franchise history they scored at least 31 points in the first half. Despite some injuries to the Ravens' receiving corps, including Flowers and Ja'Kobi Lane, and CB Marlon Humphrey, the team maintained their dominance. The Colts, on the other hand, managed to avoid any significant injuries during the game.
