‘Babies’ Review: Anna Kendrick Is a Comic Dynamo Alongside Seth Rogen in a Sparkling Portrait of a Couple Weighing the Pros and Cons of Parenthood
A longtime couple reconsiders their choice to remain childless in this film written and directed by Rogen's real-life wife, Lauren Miller Rogen.
Seth Rogen, known for his work in Sausage Party, has hinted at reviving his plans for a Figment movie based on the Epcot ride Journey Into Imagination. Despite the film being shrouded in speculation since 2022, Rogen seems to be rekindling his interest in the project, which follows the adventures of the purple dragon mascot Figment.
While Rogen has not provided many details about the movie, he has assured fans that the Figment idea is not abandoned. The actor, director, and screenwriter hinted that he is still working on producing the film, possibly awaiting some inspiration. Rogen's responses to questions about the project have been evasive, possibly due to Disney's strict non-disclosure agreements.
If Rogen does move forward with the project, Figment will have to wait until Rogen's current film commitments are completed, which include Babies, The Invite, The Studio, and Platonic.
