Adamawa Northern Zone Ex-Councillors Visit Fintiri

Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri of Adamawa State has called on Northern Zone residents to back the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the 2027 general election. This appeal came after former councillors from the zone, led by Hon. Paul Samuel of Mubi North, visited Fintiri at the Government House in Yola. The visit was a show of solidarity and appreciation for Fintiri's administration's efforts to rebuild the region and improve its people's lives after the 2014 insurgency.

Fintiri highlighted his administration's work in rebuilding the Northern Zone and enhancing living conditions. He emphasized that maintaining these achievements and expanding them across Adamawa requires continuity in governance. He assured the delegation that his successor will continue the progress made during his tenure. Fintiri urged the former councillors to return to their respective communities to rally support for the APC and ensure its victory in the 2027 election.

Speaking on behalf of the delegation, Hon. Paul Samuel thanked the Governor for his administration's achievements in education, healthcare, infrastructure, and other sectors. Samuel noted that the delegation, composed of former councillors who served under Fintiri as Speaker of the Adamawa State House of Assembly, aims to support his bid for the Northern Zone Senate seat in 2027.

They pledged to return to their wards to mobilize grassroots support for Fintiri's senatorial campaign. Samuel also appealed to Fintiri to address the outstanding entitlements of the former councillors, as previous attempts to secure these payments had not been successful. The former councillors vowed their support for the APC and their commitment to working towards Fintiri's senatorial victory in 2027.
