Watch: Rain falls on Al Quaa road south of Al Ain

On Saturday, Al Quaa road, located south of Al Ain, experienced rain accompanied by lightning. This weather event was one of many expected across the UAE, with more clouds forecasted to blanket eastern parts of the country. The National Center of Meteorology issued weather updates predicting fair to partly cloudy conditions on Sunday, with development of clouds in the eastern regions.

Humidity levels are expected to rise overnight and continue into Monday morning across some coastal and inland areas, potentially leading to fog or mist. Winds are forecasted to be light to moderate, blowing from the southeast to northeast at speeds ranging from 10 to 25 km/h, occasionally reaching up to 40 km/h.

Temperature-wise, Al Ain is set to hit a high of 45°C, dropping to 30°C overnight. Liwa is expected to record the nation's highest temperature at 47°C, while Abu Dhabi and Sharjah will see temperatures of 43°C and 42°C respectively. Humidity in Al Ain is predicted to vary between 15 to 75 percent.

As the week progresses, UAE weather will see a return of fog, mist, and stronger winds. Dusty skies and reduced visibility are expected to blanket Dubai and Abu Dhabi, further impacting the region's weather patterns.
