VinFast widens Philippine network with 27 showrooms

VinFast has expanded its dealer network in the Philippines with 27 new showrooms, aiming to create a 60-dealership network by 2026. The Vietnamese electric-vehicle manufacturer has signed memoranda of understanding with 13 dealer groups to develop these outlets across Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao. These sites will offer vehicle display, customer consultations, sales, and after-sales services, adhering to VinFast's global showroom standards.

The agreements were announced on September 11, 2025, and involve well-known Philippine automotive groups, which will provide their distribution experience and regional networks to VinFast. VinFast's Southeast Asia CEO, Antonio Zara, emphasized the importance of the Philippines as a key market in the company's regional and global plans, stating that the expansion aims to enhance access to electric cars and support services.

VinFast has been working on dealer network expansion since April 2025, when it signed agreements with six Philippine dealers to establish more than 60 new showrooms. The company currently has nine operating showrooms nationwide, indicating the gap between announced plans and actual developments. VinFast is also investing in after-sales services, charging infrastructure, and logistics to support its expansion and address the challenges faced by new entrants in the Philippine electric-vehicle market.
