Vikings convert CB Isaiah Rodgers's playing-time incentives into a signing bonus

In a contract adjustment for the upcoming 2026 season, the Minnesota Vikings have converted $1.5 million in playing-time incentives from cornerback Isaiah Rodgers into a signing bonus. According to ESPN's Jeremy Fowler, Rodgers must have participated in a minimum of 85% of the defensive snaps during the 2026 season to earn this payment.

Rodgers inked a two-year deal worth $11.045 million last year. For 2026, he is projected to earn $5.94 million. In addition, he stands to earn an extra $250,000 if he is selected for the Pro Bowl, and an additional $350,000 if he earns the distinction of second-team All-Pro. If Rodgers reaches first-team All-Pro status, he could receive a reward of $500,000.

Coming from the Indianapolis Colts as a sixth-round pick in 2020, Rodgers has made 77 regular-season appearances and started 28 games in his NFL career. In his first year with the Vikings, he played in 17 games and started 15. His standout performance occurred in Week 3 against the Cincinnati Bengals, where he returned an interception for a 87-yard touchdown and also recovered a fumble for a 66-yard touchdown.
