Thousands turn out for “Walk with Ahanta Pele” in Ahanta West

On Saturday, the town of Agona Nkwanta was abuzz with activity as thousands of people participated in the "Walk with Ahanta Pele" event. Organized by journalist Samuel Kojo Brace, also known as Ahanta Pele, the walk aimed to promote fitness, entertainment, and community interaction. Unlike traditional fitness programs held at a single location, this event led participants through the streets of the town, starting from Aboadi, passing through Agona Fie, and concluding at Baidoo Bonsoe Senior High Technical School.

The gathering was filled with music and interaction, keeping the atmosphere lively throughout the day.

The event drew a substantial turnout from both Ahanta West residents and participants from Accra and other parts of the country. Notable political figures from the NPP Ahanta West Constituency, including the First Vice Chairman, Second Vice Chairman, Organizer, Deputy Organizer, Treasurer, Financial Secretary, Women’s Organizer, Deputy Women’s Organizer, Nasara Coordinator, and Deputy Nasara Coordinator, attended the walk.

Additionally, representatives from the Sekondi Constituency, led by Mr. Percy Morgue Ansah and Youth Organizer Mr. Ben Hector Brooklyn, were present. Noteworthy media personalities, such as Lawyer Osei Bonsu, host of Ekosii Sen, and Dominic Kissi, also joined the gathering to support their colleague.

This diverse representation turned the walk into a broader public event, offering participants a chance to exercise and reconnect with their community. For many attendees, the event provided a unique opportunity to engage in physical activity while strengthening social bonds. While Brace has not yet declared his intention to contest the position, expectations are growing that he may soon make his plans known.
