PH, PN atau solo? Wan Rosdy kata semua BN boleh menang

Pahang Umno Deputy President Wan Rosdy Wan Ismail has stated that all three political cooperation scenarios for the upcoming PRN elections point to the Barisan Nasional (BN) winning. During his address at the Umno Assembly, Wan Rosdy mentioned that the three options are BN cooperating with PAS, BN cooperating with Perikatan Nasional (PN), and BN contesting alone.

“The formula is, to be comfortable and to clean hands, with PN. If with PH, 15% Malay voters would be lost, but still win. If alone, still win but with a very high risk,” he said, being also a former Pahang Menteri Besar. However, Wan Rosdy stressed that the final decision on the political cooperation form in Pahang is still under discussion and will be determined by the party leadership.

As of today, the decision is still under discussion. Insya-Allah when all information is obtained, I and my colleagues will adapt the president to discuss further before making the decision, he said. In this regard, Wan Rosdy highlighted Pahang as the only state that has maintained BN's governance without disintegration. He also vowed to protect the strong party base from falling into the hands of others.

“Only Pahang has DNA that does not disintegrate; Umno-led states have fallen before, but Pahang has never,” he said. In the 2015 general election, BN and PN each won 17 state DUN seats, while PH secured eight seats. BN formed the state government after securing the support of PH Adun.
