Muda lebih berani, pemuda PKR tempelak Umno ugut keluar kerajaan

Pemuda PKR's deputy head Nabil Halimi likened the challenge for the party to be expelled from the government as a couple pushing for divorce while still holding onto the blanket at night. Halimi said a couple may claim, "I'll leave you if you're brave," but the blanket will stay. He praised Muda and former PKR president Syed Saddiq Syed Abdul Rahman as an example of courage, as they have moved to the opposition bench despite being in the ruling coalition.

Saddiq left the ruling coalition in 2023 after openly expressing dissatisfaction with the Deputy Prime Minister's corruption trial being halted. At that time, Saddiq stated that his party, with one seat in the House of Representatives, would form the third force in the opposition bloc. During today's Umno General Assembly session, Zahid, who is also Umno president, challenged those criticizing Umno to formally expel the party from the government.

He reminded that the ruling coalition is now a result of Umno's support since the 2015 general election. Earlier, Zahid criticized Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim, who is also the leader of the opposition party, PH, calling him a teacher and stating that Umno could do better than PKR's president. He also criticized the uncertainty about the country's fundamentals, particularly regarding electricity, and the change in the basis for BUDI95 allocation.
