MotoGP San Marino GP: Full starting grid

Starting the 2026 San Marino Grand Prix, MotoGP sees a competitive grid led by Marco Bezzecchi of the Aprilia factory team, who set a new lap record in qualifying and will begin the race from pole position. His title rival, Marc Marquez on the Ducati factory bike, will start second, maintaining their rivalry at the front of the pack.

Fermin Aldeguer, representing Gresini, rounds out the top three, edging out Jorge Martin from Aprilia. In the second row, Fabio di Giannantonio of VR46 and Jorge Martin continue the intensity with Jorge Martín just ahead. The sixth position on the grid is secured by Luca Marini on the Honda bike, a strong performance in qualifying.

Alex Marquez from Gresini found himself ninth, still in contention after two crashes in qualifying. Johann Zarco, who started 11th, was penalized for impeding Bezzecchi during Q2 and will begin 11th, behind Raul Fernandez on the Trackhouse Aprilia. The event will kick off at 2pm local time on Sunday, September 13th, with Valentino Rossi, a MotoGP legend, attending to support his team VR46.
