MoJ launches three training programmes

The Ministry of Justice (MoJ) has introduced three specialized training programs to enhance the capabilities of legal professionals. These programs are designed to bolster participants' abilities to construct compelling legal arguments in court, analyze judicial decisions, differentiate between formal and substantive errors, construct legal defenses, and draft legal documents with precision.

One of the programs targets assistant judges, offering a legal and judicial sciences curriculum in collaboration with the Supreme Judicial Council. Dr. Abdullah Hamad al-Khalidi, the director of the Centre for Legal and Judicial Studies, emphasized that these initiatives align with the MoJ's commitment to refining legal training systems and cultivating national expertise in legislative knowledge and practical skills. The goal is to elevate the quality of legal work within government entities.

Dr. al-Khalidi stressed that the training programs are tailored to meet the practical requirements of legal practitioners in government agencies, integrating legal theory with professional application. This approach equips participants to effectively utilize legislation and navigate legal challenges encountered in their work. He also highlighted that these investments are crucial under the MoJ's strategic plan for 2025-30, aiming to improve government institution efficiency and strengthen the rule of law, while aligning with the state's objectives of fostering a competent, efficient, and excellent government apparatus.
