Kerjasama BN-PH pilihan paling ‘selesa’ menang di Pahang, kata Wan Rosdy

Umno Deputy President Wan Rosdy Wan Ismail has stated that the most 'convenient' approach to secure a BN victory in Pahang during the 16th General Election (PRU16) is through a political alliance with Pakatan Harapan (PH). Kuala Lumpur: Wan Rosdy commented that the decision on the form of political cooperation in Pahang is still under discussion and will be determined by the party leadership.

As of now, the matter remains under consideration. Once all information is gathered, Wan Rosdy and his colleagues will adapt the president's stance for further discussion before making a final decision, he said. In the meantime, Wan Rosdy emphasized that Pahang is the only state where BN has maintained its governance without any setbacks, and he vowed to safeguard the strong foundation of the party from falling into the hands of others.

"Only Pahang has a DNA that is not broken. Other states have experienced splits, but Pahang has never," he added. In the 2015 PRU, BN and PN each secured 17 seats in the Dewan Negara (DUN), while PH obtained eight seats. BN formed the state government following support from PH Adun.
