The National Democratic Congress (NDC) is constructing a 13-man executive structure in each polling unit across Nigeria, in preparation for the 2027 general elections, according to Senator Victor Umeh, who represents Anambra Central. Umeh stated this in an interview with ARISE NEWS, explaining that this structure would enable the party to produce agents for every polling unit during the election.
The lawmaker further noted that the NDC has filed candidates for all positions being contested in the 2027 general elections, emphasizing that the presence of candidates would ensure the party's closeness to the polling units. Umeh also revealed that the party is preparing a 20-man coordinator in each polling unit, in addition to the 13-man polling-unit executives.
Umeh emphasized that the party would have copies of polling-unit results signed by presiding officers on election day, ensuring that no polling unit would be unmarked by NDC agents.
