2027: Haske dumps APC, picks Adamawa APM gov ticket

Abdulrahman Haske, a prominent chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Adamawa State, has recently defected to the Allied Peoples Movement (APM). During a formal ceremony attended by leaders and supporters from all 21 Local Government Areas (LGAs) of the state, Haske announced his resignation from the APC and accepted the APM's governorship ticket for the 2027 election.

Haske's decision to leave the APC was based on principle, service, and the aspirations of the people, who he believes stand to gain the most from a people-centred development agenda. During his defection, the National Chairman of the APM, Yusuf Mamman Dantalle, praised Haske's political philosophy and commitment to people-centred governance. Haske expressed his gratitude to the APM leadership for the trust placed in him and pledged to uphold their shared vision through integrity, hard work, and dedicated service.

Following Haske's defection, stakeholders from both parties called for unity and collaboration in preparing for the upcoming 2027 governorship election.
