2027: Haske Dumps APC, Picks Governorship Ticket of APM in Adamawa

Abdulrahman Haske, a prominent businessman and politician, has recently made a significant political move. The former All Progressives Congress (APC) member has decided to leave the party and join the Allied Peoples Movement (APM) as their gubernatorial candidate for the 2027 elections in Adamawa State. This announcement came at an event held in Yola, attended by numerous APM leaders, stakeholders, traditional leaders, youth and women groups, and supporters from the state’s 21 local government areas.

In a statement, Haske explained that his decision to join the APM was motivated by his belief that the party offers a platform for a people-centered development agenda. He aims to build a more prosperous, inclusive, and secure Adamawa State, focusing on various sectors including agriculture, infrastructure, education, healthcare, economic empowerment, security, and accountable governance.

Haske expressed his gratitude to the APM leadership for entrusting him with the governorship ticket and pledged to serve the people of Adamawa State with integrity, hard work, and dedicated service.

APM National Chairman, Yusuf Mamman Dantalle, praised Haske's commitment to development, youth empowerment, inclusive leadership, and social impact. He stated that after careful consultations, the party recognized Haske's values and principles aligning with their progressive vision. Dantalle is confident in Haske's leadership capacity, credibility, and energy to offer Adamawa a compelling alternative in the 2027 governorship election.

Adamawa State Chairman of the APM, Badejo Bello, welcomed Haske to the party, describing him as a bridge builder with a deep understanding of the state’s developmental challenges and opportunities.
