Chisholm's injury occurred when he collided with second base while sliding headfirst. The Yankees' management informed that Chisholm will miss seven to 10 days of baseball activities.

However, speaking with USA Today's Pete Caldera, Chisholm remains optimistic about his recovery and believes he will be ready to return before the regular season concludes.

In 134 games this season, Chisholm has contributed 19 home runs, 55 RBI, and a .232 batting average. His performance last season with the Yankees was equally impressive, with 31 home runs, 80 RBI, and a .242 batting average in 130 games.
