Union Assurance secures multiple national-level awards at NAFLIA 2026

Union Assurance, Sri Lanka's oldest private Life Insurer, has once more showcased its dedication to excellence by clinching four national-level awards at the 17th NAFLIA 2026. Organized by the Insurance Association of Sri Lanka (IASL), NAFLIA is a leading forum for celebrating professional excellence in the Life Insurance industry. NAFLIA recognizes high-performing Life Insurance professionals for their outstanding sales performance, focus on customers, innovation, and commitment to raising industry standards.

Union Assurance's success underscores the strength and caliber of its Partnership Distribution channel, reflecting the company's focus on developing high-performing talent and making Life Insurance solutions more accessible to customers through trusted banking relationships. Charith Abeywardana, Senior Zonal Manager for the NTB Channel, bagged the Gold Award in the Best Bancassurance Sales Supervisor / Team Leader Category.

Kanishka Devasinghe, Associate Relationship Manager for the NTB Channel, was awarded the Silver Award in the Fast Starter Category. Two Bronze Award winners included Tharmarajasingan Gokularamanan, Zonal Manager - NTB Channel, and Dineshi Fernando, Relationship Manager - NTB Channel.
