UGC-NET June 2026 Answer Key Out For 3 Subjects; Challenge Window Opens

The National Testing Agency (NTA) has made the provisional answer keys available for the UGC-NET June 2026 re-examination. This re-examination took place on September 9 and 10, 2026, for English, Commerce, and Sociology in various centres across India. Candidates can review their provisional answer keys and recorded responses on the official UGC-NET website, ugcnet.nta.nic.in.

The agency has also opened a window for candidates to challenge any questions they believe were answered incorrectly. This challenge period will remain open until September 13, 2026.

To access the provisional answer key, candidates must visit the official website, locate the specific link for the June 2026 re-examination, and enter their login credentials. They can then download the answer key and recorded responses for their reference.

If a candidate wishes to contest an answer, they must submit their objection through the online challenge facility on the same website. The fee for challenging a question is Rs 200, which will be refunded if the challenge is accepted by subject experts. The payment can be made via Debit Card, Credit Card, or Net Banking. Challenges submitted via any other method will not be considered.

Once the challenge is accepted, the necessary corrections will be made uniformly for all candidates who took that subject. Candidates will not need to submit the same objection multiple times. The final answer key will be prepared after considering all valid objections and will be the definitive version. No further challenges can be made after the objection window closes or after the UGC-NET result is announced.
