UG NEET: 384 medical seats remain vacant

The Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) has revealed that 384 medical seats remain unallocated following the second round of seat distribution for admission to medical and dental courses. Out of the 12,010 medical seats, 11,626 have been assigned, leaving the 384 vacant seats all within the management quota. Strikingly, all 2,689 dental (Bachelor of Dental Surgery) seats have been allocated.

Candidates who have received allocations in both the All India Quota and KEA counselling can select Choice-4 by 5 p.m. on September 14 to opt for the All India Quota seat and terminate their KEA counselling. These vacated seats will be reviewed in the subsequent round, leading to a revised allotment and final announcement by KEA.
