Turkey's foreign minister discusses attacks on Saudi Arabia with Saudi counterpart, source says

Egyptian Minister of Foreign Affairs Badr Abdelatty declared ongoing discussions between Egypt and Saudi Arabia's leaderships to address regional matters, according to RT Arabic. In a televised address on Thursday, Abdelatty noted that President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi initiated a recent phone conversation with Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, describing it as "brotherly."

Both leaders expressed a desire to "continue, strengthen, and deepen consultations" and "enhance communication" between their countries. Abdelatty highlighted the "eternal" nature of the Egypt-Saudi relationship, stressing that it is rooted in shared destiny and mutual interests. He added that the security of both nations is intertwined, falling within the framework of integration between Egyptian and Gulf state security.

Last week, El-Sisi engaged in a phone dialogue with the Saudi Crown Prince, discussing bilateral ties and the importance of bolstering various aspects of cooperation to realize shared goals and address the aspirations of both nations for progress, prosperity, and improved regional circumstances. The spokesperson for Egypt's Presidency conveyed the President's congratulations to the Saudi Crown Prince on the upcoming Saudi National Day, wishing for sustained stability and prosperity for the Kingdom.

El-Sisi also emphasized the unity of fate between Egypt and Saudi Arabia, emphasizing the necessity of joint efforts to confront regional challenges and ensure the security of Saudi Arabia and all Arab states, which he deemed an extension of Egyptian national security.
