Sponge Cola, Karylle to bring “Mundong Puno ng Pag-ibig” to Dubai

Dubai: Filipino music sensations Sponge Cola and Karylle will unite for a special one-night concert in the UAE, titled "Sponge Cola & Karylle: Mundong Puno ng Pag-ibig." The event is scheduled for February 13, 2027, at The Agenda in Dubai Media City. Spearheaded by events company Spearhead One, the concert aims to connect Dubai's Filipino community with the country's rich musical heritage.

Sponge Cola, a renowned OPM band with a loyal fanbase, and Karylle, a multi-talented artist known for her singing, acting, and television presence, are set to headline an evening of nostalgia, romance, and live music. For many overseas Filipinos, OPM holds a special place in their hearts, serving as a nostalgic bridge to their roots.

Spearhead One's CEO, Donny Dones, emphasized the emotional impact of the concert, describing it as an immersive experience that unites the expatriate community through the power of music. The organizers hope to strengthen cultural ties and contribute to Dubai's diverse entertainment scene, while also attracting Filipino music enthusiasts from across the UAE, particularly during Valentine's weekend.
