The production features an ensemble of 31 dancers, accompanied by live music and an original score. Kenny Shim, the director and choreographer, aimed to create a uniquely Malaysian theatrical experience that blends dance, theatre, and live music. The production comes together quickly when an alternative story was needed in case of negotiations for another project falling through. Shim was surprised by how the ensemble cast rallied behind the project, creating approximately an hour of material for the first act within three intensive rehearsal days. 3 Days In Chow Kit Road is set to celebrate Malaysia's multi-cultural identity during Malaysia Day, showcasing the country's diverse and inclusive spirit.
