Sharjah declares three days of mourning after Deputy Ruler's brother dies

Sharjah has declared three days of mourning following the death of Sheikh Mohammed bin Salem Al Qasimi. The Deputy Ruler's brother passed away, prompting a period of grief throughout the emirate. Funeral prayers are scheduled to be held at King Faisal Mosque, and Sheikh Mohammed's remains will be interred at Al Jubail cemetery. Dr Anwar Gargash, a close friend of President Sheikh Mohamed, expressed his sorrow, recalling their bond from childhood at Al Ahmadiya School.

Gargash prayed for Sheikh Mohammed's soul and the Qasimi family. The Diwan of Ruler Sheikh Dr Sultan bin Muhammad Al Qasimi offered condolences to Sheikh Mohammed's family and the broader Al Qasimi clan, requesting prayers for the departed. Condolences for men will be accepted at Sheikh Abdullah bin Salem Al Qasimi's residence in Al Badee for three days, while women can offer condolences at Sheikh Mohammed's home in Al Tarfaana.
