Seaman’s Schnapps reaffirms cultural heritage commitment

Seaman's Schnapps has reaffirmed its dedication to preserving Nigeria's cultural heritage by sponsoring the 2026 Ekimogun Festival in Ondo Kingdom. The festival, also known as the Ogun Festival, celebrates the Yoruba deity Ogun and features traditional prayers, drumming, carnivals, cultural displays, and community competitions. Seaman's Schnapps served as the lead sponsor and official prayer drink at the event, which featured an Ayo Olopon competition, a branded media wall showcasing its products, and a cultural troupe performing traditional dances.

Senior Brand Manager Nnenna Uche-Onyenacho stated that the celebration reflected the values of the brand, emphasizing strength, creativity, and identity. The festival's organizer, the Osemawe of Ondo Kingdom, urged governments to preserve indigenous heritage and support local festivals to boost tourism and cultural development.
