Oyo releases 2026 JSS placement screening results

The Oyo State Government has released the results of the 2026 Placement Screening Exercise for Junior Secondary Schools within the state. This information was shared by the Commissioner for Information, Prince Dotun Oyelade, who spoke to journalists in Ibadan on Friday. The Commissioner for Education, Science and Technology, Olusegun Olayiwola, instructed head teachers and other stakeholders to collaborate with Local Inspectors of Education from their respective local government areas to gather the pupils' results.

Olayiwola emphasized that the release of these results signifies a significant step towards ensuring a transparent and smooth transition of pupils from primary to junior secondary education. The state government's commitment to providing a fair, credible, and efficient placement process was reiterated by Olayiwola. He congratulated all successful candidates and urged them to maintain focus, commitment, and seriousness as they move into Junior Secondary School One for the 2026/2027 academic session.

Olayiwola encouraged the pupils to embrace this new chapter in their education with discipline and determination, stressing that their dedication would significantly impact their academic success.
